Every Fieldbound book is $179 or $199, flat for up to 250 pages. The only question is who lays out the pages first: you, in our editor, or our design team.
Most missionary book services advertise a low starting price and charge by the page after a small allowance — commonly around 70 cents per extra page beyond the first 80 to 300. A two-year mission fills a lot of pages, so a $99 or $249 headline often becomes $200 to $345 by checkout.
Fieldbound has one price per tier, and it covers up to 250 pages — enough for the large majority of missions. A 60-page book and a 250-page book cost exactly the same. If a mission runs longer, it stays one book: we simply add 50¢ for each page past 250. That is well below what the services that meter by the page charge, and they often start as early as 80 pages.
The full breakdown is on our comparison page.
Sales tax is added at checkout where required. Prices are in US dollars.
At Fieldbound, $179 or $199 plus $9.99 shipping for up to 250 pages — and just 50¢ a page beyond that, still as one book. Elsewhere, add up the headline price, the per-page overage, and any add-ons before you compare: a typical two-year book runs $200 to $345 at the services that charge by the page, which they often begin doing from as few as 80 pages.
Choose Crafted by You if you want to lay out the pages yourself — the letters and photos arrive already organized by week, so the fun part is all that's left. Choose Designed for You if you'd rather open a finished book, then adjust whatever you like. Both tiers use the same editor and print the same hardcover.
At the end, not the beginning. You share the letters and photos, build or review the book, and pay only when you order the printed copy. You will see the whole book before any money changes hands.
The letters are already written. The photos are already taken.
